INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Sort & Spin Blender™ learning toy! The VTech® Sort & Spin Blender™ is packed with early learning fun. Sort the shapes to learn colors, shapes and hear a variety of sing along songs, phrases and familiar melodies. Turn the blending knob to mix up the shapes, hear a variety of sounds, phrase and melodies. The VTech® Sort & Spin Blender™ encourages motor skill development and imaginative play.

Rotate the packaging lock 90 counter-clockwise. Pull out the packaging lock. GETTING STARTED BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a coin or a screwdriver to loosen the screw. 3.
• • • • • • • • • Install batteries correctly observing the polarity (+, -) signs to avoid leakage. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbonzinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). Remove the batteries from the equipment when the unit will not be used for an extended period of time. Always remove exhausted batteries from the equipment. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries.
2. VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH To adjust the volume, slide the VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH on the bottom of the unit to the LOW VOLUME ( ) or the HIGH VOLUME ( ) position. PLEASE NOTE: This toy was designed for role-play purposes only. Please do not add any liquid as it will damage the unit. ACTIVITIES 1. Slide the on/off/mode selector switch to select a mode of play. You will hear a sing along song and fun phrases. The light will flash with the sound. 2.
5. Remove or replace the lid to hear fun sounds, short tunes or phrases. The light will flash with the sound. 6. Drop the shape sorter pieces into the top of the blender to hear a variety of fun sounds, melodies or sing along songs. The light will flash with the sound. 7. If there is no input to the unit after approximately ten seconds, you will hear fun phrases or melodies. After another ten seconds without input, you will hear a sing along song.
