With Smart Parts that talk and teach, your child can find their beat on the drum, take a turn at the microphone or line up for tickets at the pretend ticket booth.

GETTING STARTED 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Use a coin or screwdriver to loosen the screw. 3. Install 2 new “AA” size (UM3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.) 4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure the battery cover.
PRODUCT FEATURES Instructions & Activities 1. ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/OFF/ VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the LOW VOLUME ( ) or the HIGH VOLUME ( ) position. To turn the unit OFF, slide the ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the OFF ( ) position. 2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® SmartVilleTM Musical Band StandTM learning toy will automatically powerdown after approximately one minute without input.
Instructions & Activities 3. Press the drum, microphone or slide the cello to hear a variety of musical phrases, short tunes and melodies. The light will flash with the sound. 6. Insert an animal or the xylophone into the hot spot or press the hot spot with or without an animal or the xylophone to hear a variety of phrases, sounds or melodies. CARE & MAINTENANCE Care & Maintenance 1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. 2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and heat source. 3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time. 4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
