SIP contemporary trimstyle 2-line - S2320-6VDC/CTM-S2321

Handset registration

An S2310/S2320 handset must be registered to an S2410/S2420 telephone base before use. An CTM-S2311/CTM-S2321 handset

must be registered to an CTM-S2411/CTM-S2421 telephone base before use.

To register an S2310/CTM-S2311 handset:

Place the corded handset on the S2410/CTM-S2411 telephone base cradle. Handset registration happens automatically the ﬁrst

time a handset is placed on the S2410/CTM-S2411. When the registration process completes, the MESSAGE WAITING LED

ﬂashes once and you hear 3 rising beeps as conﬁrmation. Each S2410/CTM-S2411 accommodates up to 4 handsets. When

you already have 4 registered handsets, you can replace one of them by a new handset if any one of the 4 registered handsets

is disconnected from the S2410/CTM-S2411. For example, it is out of range, or its battery is removed or depleted. The previous

registered handset is then deregistered from the S2410/CTM-S2411.

To register an S2320/CTM-S2321 handset:

Place the corded handset on the S2420/CTM-S2421 telephone base cradle. Handset registration happens automatically the ﬁrst

time a handset is placed on the S2420/CTM-S2421. When the registration process completes, the MESSAGE WAITING LED

ﬂashes once and you hear

3 rising beeps as conﬁrmation. Each S2420 accommodates up to 4 handsets. When you already have 4 registered handsets, you

can replace one of them by a new handset if any one of the 4 registered handsets is disconnected from the S2420/CTM-S2421.

For example, it is out of range, or its battery is removed or depleted. The previous registered handset is then deregistered from the

S2420/CTM-S2421.

Any contemporary trimstyle 1-line handset can register to any contemporary cordless 1-line telephone base. Any contemporary

trimstyle 2-line handset can register to any contemporary cordless 2-line telephone base.

When a registered handset is idle, place it on another telephone base. This handset automatically registers to the new telephone base.
