Edit a directory entry
1. When a directory entry displays, press
MENU/SELECT. The screen
shows EDIT NUMBER along with the phone number to be edited.
If you only want to edit the name, skip to Step 3.
2. To edit the number:
f Use the dialing keys to enter digits.
f Press TCID or SDIRÇÂÀÂɸÇ»¸¶ÈÅÆÂÅÇÂÇ»¸¿¸ìÂÅżº»Ç
f Press MUTE/DELETE to erase a digit.
f Press and hold MUTE/DELETE to erase all digits.
f Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to add a three-second dialing
pause (a p appears).
3. Press
MENU/SELECT to move on to the name. The screen shows
EDIT NAME along with the name to be edited.
4. To edit the name:
f Use the dialing keys to enter characters.
f Press TCID or SDIRÇÂÀÂɸÇ»¸¶ÈÅÆÂÅÇÂÇ»¸¿¸ìÂÅżº»Ç
f Press 0 to add a space.
f Press MUTE/DELETE to erase a character.
f Press and hold MUTE/DELETE to erase all characters.
f Press TONE to change the next letter to upper or lower case.
5. Press
MENU/SELECT to save the entry.
Note: If the telephone number has more than 11 digits, EDIT NUMBER will not be displayed on the
screen.
