Getting started Parent unit battery installation You can power up the parent unit by connecting it to AC power or to the rechargeable battery pack provided. Even if the parent unit is connected to AC power, we recommend you also install the battery pack. This guarantees continued operation in case of a power outage. Install the battery as shown below. 1. Unplug the parent unit adapter from the power outlet. Unplug the small end of the power adapter cord from the RQYGT LCEM QP VJG RQYGT LCEM 2.

Getting started Parent unit battery charging Once you have installed the parent unit battery and connect the power adapter to AC power, the screen is still off. Press (on/off) for 2 seconds to turn on the parent unit. The icon indicates the battery status (see the table below). The parent unit battery is fully charged after 11 hours of continuous charging. See the table on page 20 for battery operating times.
Getting started Positioning and operating range Positioning the baby monitor Place the baby unit at least 3 feet away from your baby. Place the parent unit within the operating range (see below) of the baby unit. Make sure the parent unit is at least 3 feet away from the baby unit to avoid acoustic feedback. Appendix Troubleshooting • Other electronic products such as HAM radios and cordless phones can cause interference with your baby monitor. Try installing your baby monitor as far away as possible from these types of electronic devices. • Completely remove and install the battery again. Turn on the baby unit and the parent unit. Allow up to one minute for the parent unit and the baby unit to synchronize. My parent unit beeps and is not performing normally.

Even so, this baby unit and parent unit can communicate over only a certain distance - which can vary with the locations of the baby unit, parent unit, the weather, and the layout of your home. Même si l’unité du parent est branchée à une source de courant, nous vous recommandons également d’insérer le bloc-piles. Ceci garantit une source d’alimentation de secours en cas de panne de courant. Lorsque l’unité du parent est branchée à une source de courant et le bloc-piles est installé, elle fonctionne en mode d’adaptateur secteur (alimentation CA).

Comment débuter Recharge du bloc-piles de l’unité du parent Lorsque vous avez installé la pile de l’unité du parent et branché l’adaptateur CA, l’écran sera éteint. Appuyez sur le bouton (on/off) pendant deux secondes pour mettre l’unité du parent en fonction. Après avoir installé le bloc-piles dans l’unité du parent, l’écran indique le statut du bloc-piles (voir le tableau ci-dessous). Le bloc-piles de l’unité du parent est pleinement rechargé après 11 heures de recharge continue.
