Answering system settings
Use the answering system menu of a handset to set up the announcement
À¸ÆÆ´º¸ÇÈÅÁÂÁÂÅÂæÇ»¸´ÁÆʸżÁºÆÌÆǸÀÂÅÀ¸ÆÆ´º¸´¿¸ÅÇÇÂÁ¸´¶Ç¼É´Ç¸
call screening, or change the number of rings, remote access code or message
recording time.
Announcement
Your outgoing announcement plays when calls are answered by the
answering system.
The telephone has a default outgoing announcement, Ö¡¸¿¿Âÿ¸´Æ¸¿¸´É¸´
À¸ÆÆ´º¸´ì¸ÅÇ»¸ÇÂÁ¸× You can use this announcement, or record your own.
To record a new outgoing announcement:
1. Press MENU/
SELECT in idle mode.
2. Press
CID or DIR to scroll to Answering sys, then press MENU/SELECT .
3. Press
MENU/SELECT to select Announcement.
4. The screen displays Play [2] Del [3] Rec [7] and it announces, ÖÂÿ´ÌßÆÆ
ÂŸ¶ÂÅ·ßÆÆ#× Press 7 to record. The handset announces, Ö«¸¶ÂÅ·´ì¸Å
Ç»¸ÇÂÁ¸©Å¸ÆÆ!Ê»¸ÁÌÂÈ´Å¸·ÂÁ¸×
5. ì¸ÅÇ»¸ÇÂÁ¸Æø´¾ÇÂÊ´Å·ÆÇ»¸»´Á·Æ¸ÇÀ¼¶ÅÂûÂÁ¸©Å¸ÆÆ5 to end
recording. The newly recorded announcement automatically plays.
Â¿¼ÆǸÁÇÂÇ»¸Ÿ¶ÂÅ·¸·´ÁÁÂÈÁ¶¸À¸ÁÇ´º´¼ÁÊ´¼Ç´ì¸Åÿ´Ìµ´¶¾»´Æ
completed, then press 2.
To reset your outgoing announcement:
1. Press MENU/
SELECT in idle mode.
2. Press CID or DIR to scroll to Answering sys, then press MENU/SELECT .
3. Press
MENU/SELECT again to select Announcement.
4. The screen displays Play [2] Del [3] Rec [7] and it announces, ÖÂÿ´ÌßÆÆ
ÂŸ¶ÂÅ·ßÆÆ#× Press 3 to delete your recorded announcement. The
handset displays Annc deleted and announces, ÖÁÁÂÈÁ¶¸À¸ÁÇ·¸¿¸Ç¸·×
When your announcement is reset, the system answers calls with the
default announcement, as described above. You cannot delete the default
announcement.
