Smart call blocker
Screen unknown home calls
¢¹¬À´ÅÇ¶´¿¿µ¿Â¶¾¸Å¼ÆÂÁ´Á·ÌÂÈ»´É¸ƸÇÃÅÂ迸ÇÂƶŸ¸ÁÈÁ¾ÁÂÊÁ»ÂÀ¸
calls, the telephone plays a screening announcement to the caller when
receiving the following incoming home calls. It asks the caller to respond before
putting the call through to you.
f Incoming home calls with numbers that are “out of area“ or with numbers set
to “Private“;
f Incoming home calls with absent caller ID numbers;
f Incoming home calls with numbers that are not in your directory, allow list,
nor block list; or
f Incoming home calls with names that are not in your star name list.
Screen calls and ask for caller names
When screening a home call, the telephone announces to the caller, “¡¸¿¿Â´¿¿ÆÇÂ
Ç»¼ÆÁÈÀµ¸Å´Å¸µ¸¼ÁºƶŸ¸Á¸·µÌ¬À´ÅÇ¶´¿¿µ¿Â¶¾¸Å©¿¸´Æ¸Æ´ÌÌÂÈÅÁ´À¸´ì¸Å
Ç»¸ÇÂÁ¸Ç»¸ÁßÆÆÃÂÈÁ·×ì¸ÅÇ»¸¶´¿¿¸Å¶ÂÀÿ¸Ç¸ÆÇ»¸ŸÄȸÆÇÇ»¸Ǹ¿¸Ã»ÂÁ¸
announces to the caller “©¿¸´Æ¸Ê´¼Ç´ÀÂÀ¸ÁÇÊ»¼¿¸ÌÂÈÅ¶´¿¿¼Æ¶ÂÁÁ¸¶Ç¸·”.
The telephone starts ringing and the handset screen displays Screened call.
ì¸ÅÌÂÈü¶¾ÈÃÇ»¸¶´¿¿Ç»¸Ǹ¿¸Ã»ÂÁ¸´ÁÁÂÈÁ¶¸ÆÇ»¸¶´¿¿¸ÅÔÆÁ´À¸´Á·Ç»¸Á
asks whether you want to answer or reject the call, or to forward the call to the
answering system.

f While a home call is being screened, you can press HOME/FLASH or /SPEAKER to stop screening and

f After the telephone screened a home call, and is ringing and announcing the caller’s name, you can press
OFF/CANCEL to mute the ringer, or press CALL BLOCKÇÂŸ½¸¶ÇÇ»¸¶´¿¿·¼Å¸¶Ç¿Ì
f After you picked up a screened home call and the telephone is announcing the screening options, you can press
OFF/CANCEL to hang up the call.
