Troubleshooting
While screening a call, the telephone suddenly stops screening and
connects to the call.
f Another handset may have picked up the screening call.
f If you have other telephone system sharing the same telephone line,
and someone picks up the call on the other telephone system while the
screening is in progress, the screening process will be terminated and
connect you to the caller.
My telephone blocks calls from someone I know.
f Check if you have saved the caller’s number in your block list. If yes,
remove the number from the list. See Delete a block entry on page 84.
Blocking calls with numbers saved in my block list only.
f If you want to block calls with numbers saved in your block list only, and
allow all other calls to get through to you, change the settings to accept
calls without numbers and other calls. See Control calls without numbers
on page 70 and Control other calls on page 71.
Blocking all unknown calls.
f If you want to block all unknown calls with numbers that are not in your
directory or allow list, change the settings to block calls without numbers
and other calls. See Control calls without numbers on page 70 and
Control other calls on page 71.
Forwarding all unknown calls to the answering system.
f If you want to forward all unknown calls with numbers that are not in your
directory or allow list to the answering system, see Control calls without
numbers on page 70 and Control uncatergorized calls on page 71
to change the settings.
Incomplete messages.
f If a caller leaves a very long message, part of it may be lost when the system

f If the caller pauses for longer than seven seconds, the system stops
recording and disconnects the call.
f If the system’s memory becomes full during a message, the system stops
recording and disconnects the call.
