Chassis support a total of up to 10 Digidesign cards - this may include up
to 7 MIX Core/Farm cards, 2 d24 or MIX I/O cards and any number of
other Digidesign cards.
Note: Expansion Chassis are currently not supported with the IBM E Pro
6846.

Expansion Chassis Requirements
● Chassis must have 3.3 volt power supply
● Chassis PCI bridge chips must be compliant with the PCI v2.1
specification
● Requires 2 or 4 ft Expansion Chassis cable - 6 ft cables not
supported

Digidesign Card Requirements
MIX Core cards: CPU requires a SCSI boot drive and disabling of any
active IDE drivers with Pro Tools|24 MIX systems playing back more than
32 tracks of audio.
DSP Farm cards: must have serial number FG 10501 or higher for
compatibility with Expansion Chassis.
SampleCell II cards: must be Rev D or higher (serial number HH02001
or higher) for compatibility with Expansion Chassis.
