PRT Flex Shield has been specially
engineered to optimize the benefits of
PRT tile and is the foundation treatment
for the VPI PRT Maintenance System.
When used with VPI PRT Initial Deep
Scrub, and VPI PRT Cleaner - VPI PRT
Flex Shield will assure the very best
performance in the toughest of commercial
applications. This is because PRT Flex
Shield's high density molecular
construction actually chemically bonds
with the surface of PRT tile to not only
polish and protect, but also seal the surface
of the tile for many years of high
performance use. PRT Flex Shield also
glides on and applies effortlessly giving
astonishing visual results and functional
results unrivalled in the commercial flooring
industry.
PRT Flex Shield is formulated from crystal
clear polymers that ensure it stays clear
and non-yellowing its entire life cycle. Its
state of the art flexible formulation is
designed to move and conform to pliable
floors allowing for ultimate protection and
shine over an extended period of time.
Properly maintained with the VPI PRT
System, yields a forgiving repairable base
capable of withstanding 5 years of traffic
before needing a complete drawdown.
PRT Flex Shield gives immediate superb
gloss with quick leveling and drying time.
It will withstand repeated burnishing even
with ultra high speed propane equipment,
yet is versatile enough to just be cleaned
and recoated. PRT Flex Shield is excellent
for super markets, hospitals, schools, office
buildings, and other high traffic floors
where a flexible maintenance program is
desired.

NEW FLOORS: Prepare floor by following the
new floor VPI PRT Initial Deep Scrub label
instructions completely. Before applying PRT
Flex Shield, floor surface must be clean, dry and
free of residue. After floor is completely dry, apply
PRT Flex Shield in a uniform thin coat using a
rinsed out, clean, synthetic finish mop. Allow to
dry approximately 30 minutes before applying
the next coat. On high humidity days allow more
time. Apply a minimum of four or five coats to
maximize foundation. Floor should appear
extremely glossy.
PREVIOUSLY COATED FLOORS Or
COMPLETE DRAWDOWN: Prepare floor by
following the VPI PRT Flex Stripper label
instructions completely. Before applying PRT
Flex Shield, floor surface must be clean, dry and
free of residue. After floor is completely dry, apply
PRT Flex Shield in a uniform thin coat using a
rinsed out, clean, synthetic finish mop. Allow to
dry approximately 30 minutes before applying
the next coat. On high humidity days allow more
time. Apply a minimum of four or five coats to
maximize foundation. Floor should appear
extremely glossy.
DAILY MAINTENANCE: Sweep or dust mop the
floor to remove any large debris. (Use a water
based treatment only). Damp mop or automatic
scrub using a properly diluted solution of PRT
Cleaner and a RED pad.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE: Sweep or dust mop
the floor to remove any large debris. (Use a water
based treatment only). Damp mop or automatic
scrub using a properly diluted solution of PRT
Cleaner and a RED pad. Buff or burnish if desired
using a WHITE pad. Floor can also be recoated
to rejuvenate as necessary. To do so, damp mop
or automatic scrub using a properly diluted
solution of PRT Cleaner and a RED pad. Rinse
with clear water, and allow to dry. Floor surface
must be clean, dry and free of residue before
PRT Flex Shield is applied again. Apply 1 - 2
coats following directions above.
