2. Using a small bladed screwdriver, unscrew the two captive screws at each
corner of the individual fan you are replacing.

3. Pull the individual fan you just unscrewed directly toward you, out of the
chassis. Move the fan to an ESD-safe location.

Install Individual
Fans
To obtain a replacement fan, contact your customer support representative.
Replacing the fan is the reverse process as removing it.
To install one of the five individual fans:
Note: The power connector should be on t
he lower left side of the module
when inserted into the Acme Packet 6100 chassis.
1. Carefully align the pins on the back of the fan with the holes in the chassis

dplane and install the fan into the slot.
