Expression pedal settings
TheToneLabEX’sprogramsassignvariousfunctionstothe
expressionpedal,allow ingyo u tocontrolnotonlywahor
volumebutmanyother kin dsofeffectparameterswiththe
expressionpedal.
HINT:
If you select
VOX V847
or
VOX V845,
the expres
sionpedalwillautomaticallyfunctionasawahpedal.
Foreachprogram,youcanspecifywhichparameterwillbe
controlledbytheexpressionpedalandhowitwillbecon
trolled.
Whenyousaveaprogram,theposition(a
ngle)oftheexpres
sionpedalatthatmomentwillbesavedintheprogramasthe
parametervalue.Whenyouselectthatprogram,thevalue
savedintheprogramwillberecalledasthesettingofthe
assignedparameter.

To assign a function to the expression pedal
Asanexample,here’showtoassigntheSPEEDparameterof
theUVIBEpedal2effecttotheexpressionpedal.
1. Turnontheeffect.
Inthisexa
mple,pressthePEDAL2on/offswitchtoturn
thepedaleffecton.
2. Usetheselectortoselectaeffect,andthenusetheED
IT
knob.
UsethePEDAL2selectortoselectUVIBE,andthe
nturn
theEDITknob.TheQuickAssignLEDwilllight.

HolddowntheEXPRESSIONswitchforabouttwoseconds.
TheSPEEDparameterwillbeassignedtotheexpression
pedal;thebank/valuedisplay willind icate forone
second.
