8. PITCH SHIFTER Mono in/Mono out 1
This is a pitch shifter with a range of two octaves up or down, rivaling sophisticated rack-mounted signal processors.
PITCH [–24...+24]
Adjusts the pitch in 100-cent units.
FINE [–50...+50]
Adjusts the pitch in one-cent units.
TRACKING [10...150 ms]
Adjusts the tracking of the pitch shifter (i.e., how closely it will follow). Shorter settings are effective if the
“PITCH” setting is close to
0 , and longer settings are effective if the “PITCH” setting is close to +/–24 . While
listening to the pitch-shifted sound, adjust this so that you do not have difficulty playing.
DIRECT [0.0...10.0]
Adjusts the level of the direct sound.
EFFECT [0.0...10.0]
Adjusts the level of the effect.
NOTE: If you assign “PITCH” to an optional Korg EXP-2 foot controller connected to the JamVOX monitor, the foot controller can control the
pitch. (See JamVOX owner’s manual “Option pedal/switch settings” on page 32)
