Parts and their function AMP section This section enables you to adjust various amplifier settings. Top Panel 5 6 7 5. INST (instrument) selector Select the type of musical instrument or device that’s connected to the input jack. 8 1 12 13 14 2 15 BASS: Bass guitar 1: This is a hi-fi sound that’s suitable for slapping. 2: This is a vintage-amplifier-like sound that’s suitable for finger picking. GTR: Electric guitar 1: This is a tight and clean sound containing a deep low-pitched sound.
7. HIGH/TONE Knob When having selected BASS or GTR with the INST selector, you can adjust the tone (TONE). When having selected another, you can adjust the higher volume (HIGH). 8. VOLUME Knob This knob enables you to adjust the Amp Section volume. EFFECTS section This is where you can adjust the settings for the effects. For additional details on each effect, refer to the “Effects” (page 8). 9. FX1 knob This knob enables you to choose the compressor/modulation effect and set the intensity of the effect.
NOTE: The wide function has no effect on output from the PHONES jack. NOTE: If the center cancel function is turned on, the sound input from AUX IN is played back in monophonic sound. 15. Power LED This is lit while the power is on. Rear Panel Auto Power Off Function The VOX SOUNDBOX mini is equipped with an Auto Power Off function. The Auto Power Off function automatically turns the power off when there has been no user input for about 1 hour.
Using the Tuner Effects The tuner function lets you tune a musical instrument, such as a guitar that’s connected to the input jack. The tuner detects the pitch of the input sound, then indicates the discrepancy from the standard pitch of E. The following instructions explain how to tune a guitar as an example. 1. Press and hold down the TAP button for more than one second. All effects will be bypassed, and the tuner function will turn on. All effects are bypassed. (No valid signal is being input.) 2.
FX2 Knob: Delay/Reverb Troubleshooting A.DLY This models an analog delay that uses a bucket brigade device (BBD). The sound quality is low fidelity, but its warm sound is popular among musicians. Use the knob to adjust the mix amount of the delay sound. Use the TAP button to set the delay time. The maximum delay time is 1.2 seconds. The power does not turn on even when the power button is pressed and held down.
The effects cannot be applied to the sound. • Is the tuner function turned on? If the tuner function is turned on, the effects will be bypassed. Press the TAP button to cancel the bypass. • Are the FX1 and FX2 knobs set to OFF or to a lower value? Adjust the FX1 and FX2 knobs. • If the effects cannot be applied to the MIC signal, the FX2 SEND knob might be set to a lower value. Adjust the FX2 SEND knob. The sound of a device that’s connected to the AUX IN jack is not being output.
Use of the Microphone Stand You can screw a standard market-sold microphone stand into the 3/8inch microphone stand screw-hole on the bottom of this unit to adjust to the ideal height for use as a monitor. When using while attached to a microphone stand, pay attention to the following matters. Utiliser l’accordeur Effets La fonction accordeur permet d’accorder un instrument de musique -comme une guitare- branché à la prise d’entrée. L’accordeur détecte la hauteur du signal d’entrée et indique la différence de hauteur par rapport au Mi standard utilisé pour l’accord. La section suivante décrit à titre d’exemple comment accorder une guitare. 1. Maintenez le bouton TAP enfoncé plus d’une seconde. Tous les effets sont contournés et l’accordeur est activé. Commande FX2: Delay/réverbération A.DLY Modélisation d’un delay analogique utilisant un dispositif en cascade comme circuit de retard. Utilisation du pied de microphone Vous pouvez visser un pied de micro standard vendu dans le commerce sur l’orifice de montage de 9 mm sur le dessous de cet appareil afin de l’utiliser comme moniteur en adaptant sa hauteur à souhait. Quand vous utilisez l’appareil fixé à un pied de micro, respectez les précautions suivantes. 7. HIGH/TONE-Regler Steht der INST-Wahlschalter auf BASS oder GTR, können Sie hiermit den Klang (TONE) einstellen. Steht der INST-Wahlschalter auf ACO oder KBD, können Sie mit diesem Regler den höheren Klangbereich (HIGH) einstellen. 8. VOLUME-Regler Stellen Sie mit diesem Regler die Lautstärke der Verstärkersektion ein. Effektsektion Hier können mehrere Effektparameter eingestellt werden. ANMERKUNG: Die gleichzeitige Verwendung der Wide-Funktion und der Center Cancel-Funktion ist nicht möglich. ANMERKUNG: Die Wide-Funktion hat keine Auswirkung auf das Ausgangssignal an der PHONES-Buchse. ANMERKUNG: Wenn die Center Cancel-Funktion aktiviert ist, wird der Sound des Audiogeräts, das an die AUX IN-Buchse angeschlossen ist, monofon wiedergegeben. 15. Verwendung der Stimmfunktion Effekte Mithilfe der Stimmfunktion können Sie Ihr Musikinstrument (z. B. eine an die Eingangsbuchse angeschlossene Gitarre) stimmen. FX2-Regler Delay/Reverb A.DLY Dieses Modell beruht auf einem Analog-Delay mit Eimerkettenschaltung („BBD“). Die Klangqualität ist zwar alles Andere als top, aber eben das erzeugt die Wärme, auf die Gitarristen so stehen. Mit dem Regler kann die Mischung zwischen Direkt- und Delay-Signal eingestellt werden. Die Verzögerungszeit muss mit dem TAP-Taste eingestellt werden. Die maximale Delaydauer beträgt 1,2 Sekunden. ECHO Dieses Modell beruht auf einem legendären Bandecho.
Die Effekte scheinen nicht zu funktionieren. • Haben Sie die Stimmfunktion aktiviert? Solange die Stimmfunktion aktiv ist, werden die Effekte umgangen. Mando FX2. Retardo/Reverberación Solución de problemas A.DLY Modela un retardo analógico que utiliza un dispositivo de almacenamiento en cadena (BBD). La calidad de sonido es de baja fidelidad, pero su cálido sonido es muy popular entre los músicos. Utilice el mando para ajustar la cantidad de mezcla del sonido de retardo.
