Auto Power Off Function
The VOX MINI5 Rhythm is equipped with an Auto Power O function.
The Auto Power Ofunction automatically turns the power o when
there has been no user input for about 1 hour.
When the power is turned o, it’s not restored even if a knob or selector
is used. Turn on the power again.
NOTE:
The Auto Power O function does not run when a rhythm is
being played back.
NOTE:
The Auto Power O function will be in eect when signal is input
only to the AUX IN jack or when the input volume to the INPUT
jack and MIC IN jack is too low.
NOTE:
The Auto Power O function is set to on as the factory default.
Setting the Auto Power Off function to enable or disable
1. Press and hold down the VARIATIONS buon and turn
on the power.
2. The VARIATIONS LED will indicate the current seing.
3. Press the VARIATIONS buon to switch between the
enable and disable seing.
4. Wait a few seconds without using any of the buons or
controls. The unit will automatically switch to normal
operation.
NOTE:
The Auto Power O function enable and disable seing will be
saved even when the power is turned o.
NOTE:
When the auto-power function seing is changed, the reverb ef-
fect time and rhythm variation seings will return to the default
seing set at the factory.

Using the Rhythm Section
Selecting a rhythm pattern
Select a genre for each rhythm paern using the GENRE selector.
Select a rhythm variation using the VARIATIONS buon. One of three
VARIATIONS LEDs lights up green, orange or red in the following se-
quence each time you press the buon.

Starting and stopping the playback of a rhythm pattern
Press the START/STOP buon to start or stop playing a rhythm paern.
During playback, the VARIATIONS LED that corresponds to the selected
rhythm paern will ash in sync with the tempo.
Adjusting the volume of a rhythm pattern
Use the LEVEL knob to adjust the volume of a rhythm paern.
Changing the tempo of a rhythm pattern
Use the TEMPO knob to change the tempo in the range from 40 to 240
bpm.
