Thecoolanttemperaturegaugeindicatesenginecoolanttemperature.Thenormal
operatingtemperatureforV olvoenginesis80to105°C(170to215°F).Undernormal
drivingconditions,thetemperaturemustbebelowtheredsector.
Thetemperaturerangeforthecoolantwillvarydependingonthetypeofengine,load,
grade,ambientairtemperatureandoperatingconditions.Ifthetemperatureremains
beloworexceedsthenormaltemperaturerange,thecoolingsystemshouldbechecked
forproblemsbyanauthorizedV olvoTruckdealer.
Thetemperaturelimitisdependentontheelectronicprogramfortheenginemodel.
Whencoolanttemperatureisexcessive,theredSTOPtell-talewillcomeonandthe
buzzerwillsound.TheengineisatriskandtheEECUmayderatetheenginepower.
Stopattherstsafeplacewheretheproblemcanbechecked.
