react(ifnecessary)totheindicatedcondition.Tell-talesymbolsareshowninthe
instrumentpanelillustrationsonthefollowingpages.
Colors
Topromotevisualrecognitioninternationally,speciccolorsfortell-taleshavebeen
established.Unlessgovernmentalregulations(intheareawherethevehicleistobe
used)orengineeringdirectivesspecifyotherwise,thestandardcolorsare:
•Blue—high-beamheadlights/enginemaintenance
•FlashingGreen—turnsignals
•FlashingRed—hazardconditioninvolvingthesafetyofpersonnel
•SteadyGreen—systeminoperation
•SteadyRed—warning,immediateactionrequired
•Amber—earlywarning,suchaslowfuelorAnti-LockBrakeSystem(ABS)
