guidelines in Service Information, group 21, "General
Safety Practices" before performing this procedure.
If you are not properly trained and certified in this
procedure, ask your supervisor for training before
you perform it.

Measuring wear of the valve seats

The valve seats should be changed when the distance
“A”, measured with a new valve exceeds:
a Intake valve— 1.5 mm (0.06 in)
b Exhaust valve — 1.8 mm (0.07 in)
