Remove the inspection cover from underneath the
flywheel housing and install cranking tool 9996956.

Rotate the flywheel until it is at 0
.
Install idler gear and adjust gear lash and timing. Refer to
“Camshaft Timing, Check and Adjust” page 21.

Carefully route the wiring harness for the unit injectors
into the cylinder head and place on the outside of
the rocker cover studs.

Remove protective plug 9998251 from the injector bore.
