Tachometer
Reads thousands of engine rpm.
Engine should not be operated in red range.
Maximum continuous rpm is 6000
The turbo engine is equipped with an rpm-limiter system; at engine speeds above approx. 6200 rpm, the engine will
begin to misfire to reduce the risk of damage.
Trip odometer
Used for measuring shorter distances.
(last figure represents 1/10 mile or km)
A black number on a white background =
original instrument. A red number on a white
background = replacement instrument.

Temperature gauge
The pointer should be approximately midway on the gauge face when driving. If the pointer approaches the red
range repeatedly, check coolant level and fan belt tension. See sections "Coolant" and "Drive belts".
Do not continue to drive the car with the pointer in the red range.
