Fluid-cooled, gasoline, 6-cylinder V-engine with 90° angle. Aluminum cylinder block with cast iron,
replaceable wet liners. Aluminum cylinder head has separate inlet and exhaust passages.
Single, overhead camshafts.
Engine oiling is provided by a gear pump driven from the crankshaft.
Full-flow type oil filter. Exhaust emission control accomplished by fuel injection. Air Injection Reactor
and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (some models also equipped with catalytic converter).
