19. TROUBLESHOOTING
In purchasing  the DMM, you  have acquired  a product designed  to the  state of the  art that is 
operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur.
For this reason, the following is a description of how you can easily remove possible malfunctions 
yourself:
Always follow the safety instructions!
Error Possible cause Remedy
The multimeter does not work. Is the battery dead?
Is the power cord connected 
correctly?
Check the status.
Replace the battery.
Check the power cord.
No measured value change. Is a wrong measuring 
function active (AC / DC)?
Check the display (AC / DC) 
and  switch  the  function  if 
required.
Are the measuring leads 
inserted tightly into the 
jacks?
Check the proper an t of the 
measuring leads.
Is the fuse defect? Check the fuses.
Is  the  HOLD  function 
activated (display “H”)
Press the “HOLD button” (9) to 
deactivate this function.
The  “WARNING!”  symbol

Incorrectly connected or 
unsuitable measuring leads.
Connect measuring leads 
properly to the meter or 
change the measuring 
function.
20. DISPOSAL
Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household 
waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory 
regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from the 
product.
