21. Troubleshooting
Withthedatalogger,youhavepurchasedaproductthathasbeendesignedaccordingtothelateststateoftheart
and is reliable in operation.
However, problems and malfunctions may still occur.
Thissectiontellsyouhowtotroubleshootcommonissues:
Error Solution
The computer does not recognise
the data logger.
Checkif“USB”isdisplayedonthedataloggerafterconnection.Ifnot,
connect it to another USB port.
Check if the function for the use of the USB removable disc is enabled on
your computer.
APDFleisnotgenerated. Check whether data logger has been recognised by your computer.
Check if the data logger is displayed as a removable disc on your com-
puter.
Checkifthedataloggerisperformingarmwareupdate.
Unrealistic information on the LC
display.
Reset the data logger to factory defaults.
The ENTER/DOWN buttons do not
respond when they are pressed.
LC display is off. CheckiftheLCdisplayhasbeendisabledduringtheconguration.
Replace the battery.
No LED alarm. CheckiftheLEDalarmhasbeendisabledinthecongurationle.
Checkifthealarmhasbeenstopped(seechapter“Enabling/disablingthe
alarm limit pause function”).
Any repair work other than that described above must be carried out by an authorised technician.
