21. Troubleshooting
Withthedatalogger,youhavepurchasedaproductthathasbeendesignedaccordingtothelateststateoftheart
and is reliable in operation.
However, problems and malfunctions may still occur.
Thissectiontellsyouhowtotroubleshootcommonissues:
Error Solution
The computer does not recognise
the data logger.
Checkif“USB”isdisplayedonthedataloggerafterconnection.Ifnot,
connect it to another USB port.
Check if the function for the use of the USB removable disc is enabled on
your computer.
APDFleisnotgenerated. Check whether data logger has been recognised by your computer.
Check if the data logger is displayed as a removable disc on your com-
puter.
Checkifthedataloggerisperformingarmwareupdate.
Unrealistic information on the LC
display.
Reset the data logger to factory defaults.
The ENTER/DOWN buttons do not
respond when they are pressed.
LC display is off. CheckiftheLCdisplayhasbeendisabledduringtheconguration.
Replace the battery.
No LED alarm. CheckiftheLEDalarmhasbeendisabledinthecongurationle.
Checkifthealarmhasbeenstopped(seechapter“Enabling/disablingthe
alarm limit pause function”).
Any repair work other than that described above must be carried out by an authorised technician.
