c) MAX/MIN function
The MAX/MIN function allows you to register the maximum, minimum and average (AVG)
values of a measurement. The maximum and minimum values for the current measurement
are registered after the MAX/MIN function is activated.
PushtheMAX/MINkey(8)toxthecurrentmeasuringrange(autorangeisdeactivated).The
display shows the inverse symbol „MAXMIN“. The main display registers and displays the
maximum value continuously. The value is marked by the symbol „MAX“.
The current measurement can still be read in the small upper line.
Push the MAX/MIN key (8) again to switch to the MIN function. The main display registers and
displays the minimum value continuously. The value is marked by the symbol „MIN“.
Push the button again to switch tot he AVG function. The value shown is the current average
measurement. The value is marked by the symbol „AVG“.
To turn off the function, push and hold the MAX/MIN key for approx. 2 seconds. The inverse
symbol „MAXMIN“ disappears and automatic range selection is activated.
The MAX/MIN function is not available in the functions continuity check,
diode test and NCV.
d) REL function
Use the REL function to conduct relative value measurements to prevent line losses during
resistance measurement, for instance. The function sets the current display value to zero
(zeroing). A new reference value is now set. The smaller upper display shows the basic value
(relative difference).
Push the REL key (11) to activate this measuring function and save the reference value. The
display shows „REL“. Push the REL key (11) again to display the saved difference value with
thedeltasymbol„Δ“inthesmallupperline.
The main display is zeroed and automatic range selection is deactivated.
To turn off this function, push the REL key again or switch to a different measuring function.
The REL function is not available in the measuring ranges A-DC, continuity
check, diode test and NCV.
