e) Measuring point illumination
Measuring point illumination .
The illumination key (14) located on the side of the DMM can be used to activate/deactivate
measuring point illumination when the device is on. Push the key once to turn illumination on
andtwicetoturnitbackoff.Aconrmationbeepsoundseachtimethekeyispressed.
The illumination remains on until the function is deactivated using the illumination key (14), the
rotary switch (to „OFF“) or automatic power-off.
11. BLUETOOTH®
a) App
To make use of the Bluetooth® function you need to install an application (app) on your display
device. The app is available for iOS devices in the Apple App Store and for Android devices in
the Google Play Store. Search for “SMART BT MEASURE”, download the app and follow the
installation instructions.
Observe the app‘s help menu before you begin connecting the devices.
Additionally, observe the operating instructions that came with your display
device.
b) Pairing
1. Turn multimeter and display device (mobile device) on.
2. Press and hold the SELECT/Bluetooth® key (5) for approx. 2 seconds.
3. The Bluetooth® symbol

potential display devices. Press and hold the SELECT/Bluetooth® key for another 2

4. Connect display device and multimeter via app.
5. When the
symbol lights up in the display the connection process succeeded and is
complete.
You can disable the Bluetooth® function by repeatedly pressing and holding the
SELECT/Bluetooth® key for approx. 2 seconds until the
symbol disappears from the
display. Turning off the multimeter automatically disables the Bluetooth® function.
