The following additional functions can be used to make device settings or use special measur-
ing features.

The DMM allows you to set the power-off time (0-30 minutes) for the automatic power-off func-
tion (APO) and the brightness of the OLED display (0-100%).

In case of user inactivity, the DMM turns off automatically after the set time. This feature
protects and conserves the batteries and thus lengthens the operating time.
To turn the DMM back on after automatic power-off, press any key or turn the rotary switch
past „OFF“. The device will turn back on in approx. 1-2 seconds.
Proceed as follows to set the power-off time:
- Push and hold the SETUP key for approx. 2 seconds.
- The display shows the setup windows „SETUP 1 APO TIME“ for
automatic power-off.
- Use the MAX MIN key (8) to increase the value in 1 minute intervals.
- Use the REL ZERO (11) key to decrease the value in 1 minute inter-
vals. After the display shows „1m“, the automatic power-off feature is
deactivated. The display shows „OFF“. In normal measurement mode,
the symbol „APO“ is not active when APO is deactivated and the device does not turn off
automatically.
- To exit the settings menu, push and hold the SETUP key for approx. 2 seconds. The display
returns to measuring operation.
