You should calibrate the multimeter once each year to guarantee measuring accuracy for
years to come.
The product is maintenance-free apart from occasional cleaning and replacing the batteries.
Instructions on replacing the batteries are included below.

Read and observe the following safety instructions before cleaning the device:

Do not use any abrasive cleaners, benzine, alcohol or the like for cleaning. Such substances
may corrode the meter‘s surface. Moreover, the fumes are harmful and explosive. Do not use
sharp-edged screwdrivers, metal brushes or similar for cleaning.
Use a clean, lint-free, antistatic and slightly damp cleaning cloth to clean the device, the
display and the test leads. Let the meter dry completely before further use.
