The following symbols and indications are visible on the device or in the display.
AUTO Automatic range selection is active
SETUP 1/2 Access device settings and display function 1 and 2
APO Automatic power-off is active
APO TIME Power-off time in minutes (m)
OFF Switch position off or function deactivated
OLED BRIGHT % Display brightness in percentage steps
NCV Non-contact AC voltage detection (only V-AC)
True RMS True root mean square measurement
H Data hold function is active
HOLD Go to/deactivate data hold function
MAXMIN MAX/MIN function is active
MAX Display the maximum value of the current measurement series
MIN Display the minimum value of the current measurement series
AVG Display the average value of the current measurement series
REL Go to relative value measurement and set relative value (not possible
for DC and NCV)
ZERO Zero adjustment for DC measuring range (A-DC only)
Δ Delta symbol for relative value measurement (= display relative value)
OL Overload indicator; the measuring range was exceeded
Battery charge state symbol for full batteries; number of bars reduced
with failing battery charge state. Replace the batteries immediately to
prevent measuring errors when no bars are left!
