Do not operate the multimeter when the housing or battery compartment is open or if the bat-
tery compartment cover is missing.
Measurements in potentially explosive areas (Ex) or wet rooms or in adverse ambient condi-
tions are not permissible. Adverse ambient conditions are dened as such: Wet conditions or
high humidity, dust or ammable gases, vapors or solvents as well as thunderstorms or similar
conditions such as strong electrostatic elds, etc.
Only use test leads and measuring accessories that meet the multimeter‘s specications.
The multimeter may be only operated by persons familiar with the applicable regulations
for the measurement and all possible hazards. The use of personal protective equipment is
recommended.
Any use other than that described above will damage the product and may involve other
hazards such as short-circuit, re, electric shock, etc. The product as a whole must not be
modied or altered!
