9 Connecting to the vehicle

The diagnostic scanner must always be connected or disconnected with the ignition

switched off.

• ConnecttheODBIIconnectorplug(8)tothevehicle'sOBDIIinterface.

The vehicle's OBD II interface is usually located near the steering wheel or centre

console.Ifyoucannotndtheinterface,consult yourvehicle'sservice manualfor

further details.

• Switch on the ignition of the vehicle.
