Das Gerät wird über die OBD II-Schnittstelle mit dem Datenbus-System des Fahrzeugs verbunden und gleichzeitig auch mit Strom versorgt. 11.5 EVAP leak test Perform this test to check the vehicle for unwanted evaporative emissions. This is not an exhaust emission check. This function does not run the leak test but instead causes the vehicle's onboard computer to run the test. Before using this function, consult the vehicle's repair manual for details. 9 Connexion au véhicule Le branchement ou le débranchement de l’appareil de diagnostic doit toujours être effectué lorsque le contact d’allumage est coupé. • Reliez la fiche du connecteur ODB II (8) à l'interface OBD II du véhicule. L'interface OBD II du véhicule se trouve en principe à proximité du volant ou de la console centrale. Si vous ne trouvez pas l'interface, consultez la documentation de service du véhicule. • Allumez le contact du véhicule.

11.3 Test d’aptitude I/M I/M renvoie à l’inspection et à l’entretien (Inspection and Maintenance) afin de répondre aux normes nationales relatives à la pollution. L’I/M indique si les différents systèmes du véhicule liés aux émissions fonctionnent normalement et si les tests d'inspection et d'entretien peuvent être effectués. L’I/M peut également être utilisé (après qu'une erreur a été rectifiée) pour confirmer que la réparation a été correctement effectuée.
11.5 Test d’étanchéité du système EVAP Ce test effectue un contrôle qui consiste à vérifier si le véhicule n'émet pas involontairement des polluants par évaporation. Il ne s’agit pas d’un contrôle du gaz d’échappement. Cette fonction n’effectue pas elle-même ledit test d’étanchéité, mais demande à l’ordinateur de bord du véhicule de le faire. Avant d’exécuter cette fonction, veuillez consulter le manuel de réparation du véhicule afin de prendre connaissance de la procédure à suivre.

1 Inleiding Geachte klant, Hartelijk dank voor de aankoop van dit product. Het product voldoet aan alle wettelijke, nationale en Europese normen. Om dit zo te houden en een veilig gebruik te garanderen, dient u als gebruiker de aanwijzingen in deze gebruiksaanwijzing op te volgen. Deze gebruiksaanwijzing hoort bij dit product. 3 Beoogd gebruik Het product wordt gebruikt om communicatie tot stand te brengen met besturingsapparatuur in motorvoertuigen. De voertuigen waarvoor het apparaat is ontwikkeld zijn te vinden in de "Technische gegevens". Het apparaat wordt via de OBD II-interface verbonden met het databussysteem van het voertuig en tegelijkertijd van stroom voorzien. U mag het product enkel in gesloten ruimtes of op een beschutte plek in een auto gebruiken. Contact met vocht moet onder alle omstandigheden worden vermeden.

Volg de instructies op de webpagina. 7 Veiligheidsinstructies Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door en let vooral op de veiligheidsinstructies.
7.3 Gebruiksomgeving Stel het product niet bloot aan welke mechanische belasting dan ook. Bescherm het product tegen extreme temperaturen, sterke schokken, ontvlambare gassen, dampen en oplosmiddelen. Bescherm het product tegen hoge vochtigheid en nattigheid. Bescherm het product tegen direct zonlicht. Zet het product nooit direct aan nadat het van een koude naar een warme ruimte is overgebracht. De condens die hierbij ontstaat kan in bepaalde gevallen het product onherstelbaar beschadigen.
7.5 Product Lees voor gebruik de onderhoudsdocumentatie van uw voertuig en volg de daarin vermelde instructies. Als u geen specialistische kennis hebt van het gebruik van autogereedschap en de reparatie van voertuigen, raadpleeg dan een specialist. Het niet in acht nemen van deze instructies kan leiden tot schade aan het voertuig. Neem bij werkzaamheden aan het voertuig, vooral bij werkzaamheden in de motorruimte, de daarvoor geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht.

9 Aansluiting op het voertuig Het diagnoseapparaat moet altijd met uitgeschakeld contact worden aangesloten of losgekoppeld. • Sluit de stekker van de ODB II-connector (8) aan op de OBD II-interface van het voertuig. De OBD II-interface in het voertuig bevindt zich meestal in de buurt van het stuurwiel of de middenconsole. Raadpleeg de onderhoudsdocumentatie van het voertuig als u de interface niet kunt vinden. • Zet het contact van het voertuig aan.

Als er geen storingscodes zijn opgeslagen verschijnt op het display (1) "No (pending) codes are stored in the module!" Wacht in dit geval enkele seconden of druk op een willekeurige toets om terug te keren naar het menu. Er verschijnt een waarschuwingsbericht Erase Codes Clear/Reset Emission-Related Diagnostic Information, Are you sure? Druk op de OK-toets (2) om de storingscodes te wissen.
11.3 I/M-gereedheidstest I/M verwijst naar inspectie en onderhoud (Inspection and Maintenance) om te voldoen aan de nationale normen inzake verontreinigende stoffen. I/M geeft aan of de verschillende emissiegerelateerde systemen van het voertuig naar behoren functioneren en of er inspectie- en onderhoudstests kunnen worden uitgevoerd. I/M kan ook worden gebruikt (nadat een storing is verholpen) om te bevestigen dat de reparatie correct is uitgevoerd.
11.5 EVAP-dichtheidscontrole Met deze test wordt het voertuig gecontroleerd op ongewenste verontreinigende emissies door verdamping. Dit is geen controle van de uitlaatgassen. Deze functie voert deze dichtheidscontrole niet zelf uit, maar zorgt ervoor dat de boordcomputer van het voertuig de test uitvoert. Raadpleeg de reparatiehandleiding van het voertuig voor de vereiste procedure.

13 Software-update • Download de actuele softwareversie van www.conrad.com/downloads hieronder. • Sluit het apparaat aan op de computer met de meegeleverde USB-kabel. 14 Verwijdering 14.1 Product Alle elektrische en elektronische apparatuur die op de Europese markt wordt gebracht, moet met dit symbool zijn gemarkeerd.
