11 OBD II diagnostics
11.1 Reading out fault codes
There are two types of fault codes:
“Hardcodes”or“Permanentcodes”arefaultsthatactivatethecheckenginelightonthe
dashboard when an emission-related fault is detected.
“Pending codes” are faults detected during the current or last completed driving cycle.
These codes will be cleared during the next drive should the faults not reoccur. These faults
do not activate the check engine light on the dashboard.
Select[ReadCodes]withbuttons (6)and (7),andthenpresstheOKbutton(2).

Ifnofaultcodesarestored,thedisplay(1)shows“No(pending)codesarestoredinthemodule!”.
If this happens, wait a few seconds or press any button to return to the menu.
If fault codes are stored, the display will appear as follows:
