9 Connecting to the vehicle
The diagnostic scanner must always be connected or disconnected with the ignition
switched off.
• ConnecttheODBIIconnectorplug(8)tothevehicle'sOBDIIinterface.
The vehicle's OBD II interface is usually located near the steering wheel or centre
console.Ifyoucannot ndtheinterface,consultyour vehicle'sservicemanualfor
further details.
• Switch on the ignition of the vehicle.
