Operation
Always turn off the desired device before connecting it to the USB port.
Make sure the connection is correct. If the product is not connected properly,
it could overheat or cause an electric shock or re.
Make sure that the device meets the product’s power requirements (see
technical data).
You can charge or operate two USB devices simultaneously using the product. How
to connect a single USB device is described below.
The output current is distributed to both USB connections. If a USB device with a
current consumption of 2.1 A is connected to one of the two USB connections, you
can only connect a USB device with a current consumption of max. 1 A to the other
USB connection.
If the input voltage is 12 V, the output current of one single USB port must not exceed
2.4 A.
If the voltage input is 24 V, the output current of one single USB port must not exceed
2.1 A.
• Connect the switched-off USB device to the product.
• Plug the product into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket. The display should be on top of
the USB ports.
• Your USB device is now charging. Should you wish to operate the USB device, you may
turn it on now.

lighter socket.
• Unplug the product from your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket after use.
You can operate the product while the engine is both on or off. However, avoid
starting the engine while the product is connected as this cuts power to the cigarette
lighter socket briey (this may not apply to all vehicle models). If the engine is
switched off, drawing current over a longer period of time will discharge the vehicle
battery.
Display
After the product is plugged into a vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket, the display shows the car
battery voltage, the total current consumption of the connected USB devices, and the adapter’s
internal temperature alternately for 10 seconds each.
If no USB device is connected, the adapter’s internal temperature corresponds to the
ambient temperature.
If a USB device is connected, the adapter’s internal temperature will rise.
Cleaning and care
• Disconnect the product from the cigarette lighter socket before cleaning.
• Disconnect any USB device from the product before cleaning.
