• For connection, e.g., of a charger, use a suitable connection cable. Depending on
the required current, the line cross-section must be chosen accordingly.
If the line section is too low, the connection cable may grow hot. There is a
danger of re!
• Observe the proper polarity for connection (plus/+ and minus/-).
• Never overload the mains unit. In spite of the comprehensive protective circuits,
a defect or damage to the mains unit or the connected devices cannot be 100%
excluded.
• Only operate the product in moderate climate, never in tropical climate. For more
information on acceptable environmental conditions, see the chapter „Technical
Data“.
• In schools, training centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the
product must be supervised by responsible trained personnel.
• Do not wear any metal or conductive materials, such as jewellery (necklaces,
bracelets, rings, etc.) while you are working with the mains unit, a charger and
rechargeable batteries. Short-circuit at the rechargeable battery or charger poses
danger of re and explosion.
• Switch off the product and disconnect it from the mains voltage when you no
longer need it.
Disconnect the product from the mains voltage in case of thunderstorms to
protect it from damage.
