Regularly check that the screw terminal device fits properly, as the contacts can over-
heat in the event of increased transition resistances.
Fitting mount shackle for 19“ rack mounting
The laboratory power supply can be used as a desktop appliance or fitted via the supplied mount shack-
les in 19“ module carriers.
Use the screws supplied only to fit the shackles. Wrong or longer screws could
touch contact dangrous parts on the inside.
Do not apply any additional holes or borings to the housing. The screw aper-
tures are already available.
Fit the mount shackles to the left and right of the housing and ensure that the screws fit properly.
Disposal
Old electronic devices are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of in house-
hold waste. When the device has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance with
the current statutory regulations at the communal collection points. Disposal in the
domestic waste is not permitted.
Maintenance and cleaning
Apart from an occasional cleaning this laboratory power supply is maintenance-free. Use a clean, lint-
free, antistatic and dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use any abrasive or chemical agents or deter-
gents containing solvents.
Reactivate fuse machine
If it is no longer possible to switch on the laboratory power supply, the rear mains fuse (18) is probably
defective.
Proceed as follows to reactivate the mains fuse:
Switch the DC output off and do the same with the power supply. Allow the power supply and the
fuse to cool down for approx. 5 minutes.
Press the rear fuse holder back into the fuse machine until it snaps.
The power supply can be operated again.
