Connecting the Power Cable

• Connect the supplied earthing mains cable to the low-power device installation socket (17) on the

power supply. Make sure it is plugged properly.

• Connect the power cable to a shockproof mains socket with protective grounding.

Setting output voltage

• Ensure that the DC output is switched off (switch 7 in position „OFF“)

• Switch on the mains power supply at the power switch (1). The operating display (2) lights up and the

current and voltage display appears on the display.

• Via the two rotary controls „VOLTAGE COARSE“ and „VOLTAGE FINE“ the output voltage can be set.

• „COARSE“ (4) Coarse control for fast voltage change

• „FINE“ (5) Fine control for precise voltage selection

In normal mode the device operates in voltage limitation mode. This means that the

supply device limits the output voltage to the set value. This operation is indicated with

a green status display „CV“ (10).

Setting output current

Setting the output current is a protection mechanism to protect the consumer or connecting lines. The

output current can be set with deactivated DC output or with open terminals. A usual „short circuit“ is not

required for presetting.

• Ensure that the DC output is switched off (switch 7 in position „OFF“)

• Switch on the mains power supply at the power switch (1). The operating display (2) lights up and the

current and voltage display appears on the display.

• Press the „PRESET“ key (6) into the position „C-LIMIT“ and hold it down for the duration of the set-

ting. The display switches the power display „A“ into the preview mode.

• Via the two rotary controls „CURRENT COARSE“ and „CURRENT FINE“ the maximum current

strength (strength limitation) can be set.

• „COARSE“ (16) Coarse control for fast current setting

• „FINE“ (15) Fine control for precise current setting

• Let go of the „PRESET“ key (6), after making your settings. The display shows the actual current

(with output 0.0 switched off).

If the preset current is reached in normal operation, the power supply switches to cur-

rent limitation mode and reduces the voltage value. This operation is indicated with a

red status display „CC“ (11).
