During a cyclic change of the display value, the measured values are displayed for three sec-
onds. The change happens in the following order:
Ampere hours (Ah) >Watt hours (Wh) > Maximum voltage (Vp) > Current (Ap) > Maximum
power (Wp) > Minimum voltage (Vm) > Minimum current (Am) > Runtime
To stop at a specic indicated value, press the RESET button briey. Press the but-
ton again to resume with the cycle of measured values.
Load (Ah): shows the total electrical load in ampere hours consumed by the
device since the power meter has been connected.
Energy (Wh): shows the total energy in watt consumed by the device since the
power meter has been connected.
Maximum Voltage (Vp): shows the peak voltage of the reading (from the moment the
power meter was turned on up to the current time or from the
last reset up to the current time).
Maximum current (Ap): shows the peak current of the reading (from the moment the
power meter was turned on up to the current time or from the
last reset up to the current time).
Maximum power (Wp): shows the peak power of the reading (from the moment the
power meter was turned on up to the current time or from the
last reset up to the current time).
Minimum voltage (Vm): shows the lowest voltage of the reading (from the moment the
power meter was turned on up to the current time or from the
last reset up to the current time).
Minimum current (Am): shows the lowest current of the reading (from the moment the
power meter was turned on up to the current time or from the
last reset up to the current time).
Runtime: shows the duration of the reading (from the moment the power
meter was turned on/reset up to the current time).
Resetting measured data
After the start sequence, press RESET and the text „press again for 5 sec to reset“ appears.
Press and hold the RESET button for more 5 seconds. The text disappears and all values are
reset. The power meter starts instantly with new measurements.
Data retrieval
The operating instructions of the PM/USB adapter for PM-60/20A contain more information
on this.
Troubleshooting
By purchasing this power meter you have acquired a product that has been designed to the
state of the art and is operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur. This is
why we would like to describe here, how possible problems can be solved.
The power meter is connected to the computer via USB, however the data is not transmitted:
Data transmission and data analysis will only function with a corresponding software and the
PM-USB adapter. A PM-USB adapter purchased in addition contains the software for data
transmission. Data transmission via USB cable is not possible.
If you have installed the software and data is still not transmitted, check your computer USB
port for contact!
Despite holding down the RESET button, the recording interval (sampling time) cannot be set:
The sampling time can only be set straight after switching on the power meter. Once „Sampling
Time“ appears on the LCD screen, press the RESET button for 5 seconds. Now you are in the
Sampling Time menu.
If „Sampling Time“ is not shown on the display, press the RESET button for 5 seconds as soon
as „Version: No. USB“ is shown.
If you hold down the RESET button for 5 seconds after the „Version: No. USB“ appears and the
Sampling menu is not shown, but rather the text „Sampling Time“, press the RESET „button
once more for 5 seconds. Otherwise, you will enter the measurement menu.
If the RESET button is not pressed immediately after the power meter is turned on, voltage,
current and power will be shown on the display. Pressing the RESET button now will reset
the recorded parameters; it is not possible to get into the Sampling Time menu. Switch off the
power meter rst.
The power meter does not start:
Check whether the required supply voltage of 5 V is applied. If this is the case, check the polar-
ity of the power supply.
Despite a „RESET“, not all of the measured values were reset::
Immediately after the reset, the power meter starts reading again. The measured data shown
on the display are newly recorded values.
Maintenance and Care
The product does not require any maintenance. You should never open or disassemble it.
Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by a specialist.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufcient.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions; this may damage the
surface of the casing.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household waste.
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
You thereby full your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
