 • Chargethepowerbankonaregularbasisevenifitisnotused(approximately
every3months).Otherwise,itmayresultinadeepdischargeofthebattery,thus
makingitpermanentlyunusable.
  Noinitialdischargeisrequiredduringchargingduetotherechargeablebatteries
used.
 • Duringcharging,placethedeviceonaheat-resistantsurface.Aslightwarming
duringthechargingprocessisnormal.
 • Ifyourskincomesintocontactwithleakingordamagedbatteries,youmaysuffer
burns.Forthisreasonyoushouldusesuitableprotectiveglovesinthiscase.
 • Liquidsleakingfromrechargeablebatteriesareverychemicallyaggressive.
Objectsorsurfacescomingintocontactwiththeseliquidsmightbeconsiderably
damaged.

 Chargethebuilt-inrechargeablebatterycompletelybeforeeachuse.
 Makesurethatthepowerratingofyourmobiledevicematchesthatofthedevice
(see“TechnicalData”chapter).
 Alwaysreadtheoperatinginstructionsofyourmobiledevice.
 DonotshortcircuittheUSBinput/outputofthepowerbank.

Presstheoperatingbuttonofthepowerbankbrieytocheckthechargelevelofthebuilt-in
rechargeablebattery.Arunninglightappearsandthepowerbankchecksthebattery.Then,
theLEDsindicatethechargelevel(1LEDilluminated=25%,2LEDs=50%,3LEDs=75%,
4LEDs=100%).AsingleashingLEDindicatesthatthechargelevelisbelow25%.
IfnoUSBdeviceisconnectedforcharging,thepowerbankswitchesoffautomatically
afterafewsecondsandtheblueLEDsareilluminatedagain.

• First,disconnectthedeviceconnectedtothechargingoutputofthepowerbank.
Itisnotpossibletousethechargingoutputandtochargethepowerbankatthesame
time.
• ConnectthemicroUSBporttoasuitableUSBpoweradapter(e.g.thepoweradapterthat
camewithyourmobiledevice/smartphone)usingtheprovidedUSBcable.Itmustbeable
tosupplyacurrentofatleast1A.
ItisirrelevantwhichofthetwoUSB-AplugsoftheUSB-Ycableisused.
• Duringthechargingprocess,theLEDsindicatetherespectivecharginglevel.
 Here,thepermanentlylitLEDsindicatethecharginglevel(1LEDpermanentlylit=battery
25%charged,2LEDs=50%,3LEDs=75%,4LEDs=100%)andashingLEDsindicate
thecontenttobecharged.
 Example:3LEDsarepermanentlylit,oneLEDashes:Thebatteryis75%rechargedand
theremaining25%arecurrentlycharged.
• Thechargingdurationisdependantonthecharginglevelofthebatteryandmaybeseveral
hours(forchargingdurationofacompletelyatbattery,seechapter“TechnicalData”).
• Oncethebuilt-inrechargeablebatteryisfullycharged,disconnectthepowerbankfromthe
voltage/currentsupply.Thepowerbankisnowreadyforuse.
