OPERATION
Check the level of the internal battery before each use. Fully charge the
internal battery before using the device for the Àrst time. Ensure that the
connection data for your mobile device conforms to the connection data for
the product (see technical data).
Always read the operating instructions for your mobile device.
Do not short-circuit the USB ports.
The USB cable is not designed for data transfer.
a) Charging the internal battery
• Charge the internal battery of the power bank when a battery level of below 25% is
indicated.
• Connect the micro USB plug to the micro USB port (5) on the power bank.
• Connect the USB-A plug on the USB cable to the USB connection on the USB power
adapter provided, a computer or another suitable USB power source.
• The charging process commences automatically. The corresponding LED on the battery
level display (2) starts to Àash.
The battery level display goes off after about 10 seconds if the USB connection is
interrupted.
• The internal battery is fully charged when all four blue LEDs on the battery level display are
permanently on.
• Disconnect the product from the USB power source as soon as the internal battery is fully
charged. The product is now ready for use.
The charging time required depends on the battery level and the strength of the
charging current used. If you only use the product occasionally, we recommend that you
fully charge the internal battery every three months in order to retain maximum capacity.
b) Checking the battery level
To check the level of the internal battery, brieÀy press the ON/OFF button (4). The battery
level will be displayed for about 10 seconds.
1 LED on: internal battery charged to approx. 25%
2 LEDs on: internal battery charged to approx. 50%
3 LEDs on: internal battery charged to approx. 75%
4 LEDs on: internal battery fully charged
c) Charging a mobile device
Press the ON/OFF button (4) to display the battery level of the power bank. Charge the
power bank before starting to charge a mobile device if the battery level is insuf¿cient.
• Use the micro USB cable included or another USB charging cable suitable for your mobile
device. Connect the micro USB plug to the micro USB port on your mobile device.
• Connect the USB-A connector on the USB cable to the 1A USB port (1) or the 2A USB
port (3) on the power bank. Refer to the technical data for the mobile device that you are
charging. You can charge a second mobile device by connecting it to the second USB-A
port.
• Press the ON/OFF button to begin the charging process. The LEDs on the battery level
display (2) light up during charging.
• Monitor the charging process. Charging cannot be interrupted using the ON/OFF button.
If you want to interrupt the charging process, remove the USB cable from the mobile device.
• Remove the USB cable from the product and the mobile device as soon as the charging
process is ¿nished.
It is not possible to charge the power bank while using it to charge a mobile device.
d) Overload protection
• The power bank turns off in the event of an overload. The LEDs on the battery level
display (2) turn off.
• Remove any connected mobile devices. Charge the power bank with the USB cable for a
short period to reset it.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions, as these could damage the housing or even impair the
functioning of the product.
• Disconnect the USB cable and your connected mobile device from the product before
cleaning.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of the
product, therefore never open/dismantle it.
• A dry, soft and clean cloth is suf¿cient for cleaning. Do not press too hard on the housing as
this can lead to scratch marks.
• Dust can be easily removed using a soft and clean long-haired brush.
DISPOSAL
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
The built-in battery must be disposed of by a specialist.
b) Rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used rechargeable
batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated rechargeable batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on rechargeable
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used rechargeable batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus ful¿l your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
