INTENDED USE
This product is designed to be used as a camera attachment for suitable endoscope systems
(refer to the webpage for the product with item no. 123319 at www.conrad.com). It can be
used for optical troubleshooting or inspection at facilities and installations that do not carry a
live voltage. The waterproof camera neck is designed for use in liquids that do not carry a live
voltage (no acids or alkaline solutions).
The exible camera neck allows the camera on the probe tip to access inaccessible positions.
The probe tip can be moved using the control knob and by turning the handle piece in 2
directions (item no. 1340786). The product with item no. 1361298 features a second control
knob directly under the rst, which can be used to move the probe tip in two other directions.
The LEDs built into the probe tip allow recording in completely dark areas. Power is supplied
via the connected endoscope.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If
you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be
damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, re, electric
shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

MEANING OF SYMBOLS
The symbol with the lightning in the triangle is used if there is a risk to your
health, e.g. due to an electric shock.
The exclamation mark indicates specic risks associated with handling, function
and use.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
This symbol reminds you to read the operating instructions included with the
product.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information
on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become
dangerous playing material for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if
the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are
connected to the product.
Pay attention to the safety information, instruction manuals and the necessary
safety regulations of the devices, facilities or installations in which you use the
camera probe. Improper use of the camera probe carries numerous risks, e.g. risk
of injury and the risk of an electric shock etc.
The camera probe is protected according to the IP67 rating. However, it must
only be submerged in non-reactive liquids (no acids or alkaline solutions). The
operating temperature must not exceed the permissible range (see "Technical
data" section).
It is forbidden to use the product on people and animals and in potentially
explosive environments
Do not use the product in rooms or in adverse environmental conditions that
contain or may contain ammable gases, vapours or dust! There is a risk of
explosion!
Attention, LED light:
- Do not look directly into the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
In industrial facilities, the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
and facilities issued by the Industrial Employers' Liability Association must be
adhered to.
The connection sockets must not come into contact with liquids.
Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. The plug-in
power supply unit also involves danger to life by electric shock! Allow the product
to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply and putting it
to use. This may take several hours.
In schools, educational facilities, hobby and DIY workshops, the product must be
operated under the responsible supervision of qualied personnel.
b) Miscellaneous
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.
Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualied shop.
