If the component between the probes

cannot be detected, the following

message appears:

• If the component is not supported,

has a fault or an attempt is made

to test component that is integrated

into a circuit, the following message

appears:

• Some components may be incor-

rectly detected due to a short circuit

between two probes. In this case,

the following message (or similar) is

displayed:

• If all three probes are short-circuited

(or there is very low resistance), the

following message appears:

• The tester may detect one or more diode junctions or other

component types within an undetected or faulty part because

many semiconductors consist of p-n (diode) junctions. For more
