• Only connect the power adaptor to a normal mains socket connected to the public
supply.Beforeplugginginthepoweradaptor,checkwhetherthevoltagestatedon
the power adaptor complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• The power adapter must never be plugged in or disconnected when your hands
are wet.
• Never unplug the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable;
always use the grips on the plug.
• Whensetting up the product, ensure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or
damaged by sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them.
This poses a risk of injury.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power unit from the mains socket during
storms.
• Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
when using the product in industrial facilities.
• Inschools,trainingcentres,hobbyandself-helpgroups,theuseofchargersand
accessories must be supervised by trained personnel in a responsible manner.
• It is essential to pay attention to the charging instructions of the rechargeable
battery manufacturer.
• Improper handling (e.g., incorrect rechargeable battery type) can lead to
overloading or destruction of the rechargeable battery.In the worst case, the
battery can explode and thereby cause serious damage.
• Do not charge conventional batteries, rechargeable alkaline batteries (RAM
cells),lead-acid batteries orlithium batteries withthis charger.There isa risk
of explosion.
• Keep transmitting devices (mobile telephones, transmitting systems for scale
models etc.) away from product as the transmitter signal could interfere with
charging and possibly destroy the product and/or the rechargeable battery.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow
the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to an appliance. This
may take several hours.
