17. WARNING MESSAGES ON THE DISPLAY
The polarity of the rechargeable battery connections has been switched.
The connection to the rechargeable battery has been disrupted, e.g. if the
battery has been disconnected during the charging process.
There is a short circuit at the output of the charger.
A problem has been identied at the direct voltage input of the charger.
The charger has found a problem with its electronics. If the fault reoccurs
after disconnecting and reconnecting the voltage/current supply, have the
charger inspected by a specialist.
The rechargeable battery voltage is too low. Check the setting of the
rechargeable battery type and the cell number at the charger.
The rechargeable battery voltage is too high. Check the setting of the
rechargeable battery type and the cell number at the charger.
The voltage of a cell of a connected lithium rechargeable battery is too low (a
cell may be defective or deep-discharged).
The voltage of a cell of a connected lithium rechargeable battery is too high
(possibly overloaded or balancer connection defective).
There is a problem with the balancer connection (balancer plug not con-
nected or defective).
The inner temperature of the charger is too high. Let the charger cool off.
The charger has found a problem with its electronics. If the fault reoccurs
after disconnecting and reconnecting the voltage/current supply, have the
charger inspected by a specialist.
