3. Intended use
- Measurement and display of the electrical values in the range of measurement category CAT III (up to 250 V
against earth potential according to EN 61010-1) and all lower categories. The measuring device must not be used
in the CAT IV measurement category.
- Measurement of direct and alternating voltages up to 250 V
- Measurement of direct current up to 10 A
- Measurement of resistance values of up to 20 MOhm.
- Acoustic continuity check
- Diode tests
- Non-contact 230 V/AC voltage test
- hFE transistor test (only with optional measuring adapter)
The two current measurement inputs are protected against overload. The voltage in the measuring circuit may not
exceed 250 V. The measuring ranges are equipped with ceramic high-performance fuses.

Forsafetyreasons,onlyusemeasuringleadsoraccessoriesthatmatchthedevicespecications.
The multimeter must not be operated when open, with the battery compartment open or with the battery compart-
ment cover missing. The device is intended for indoor use only. Contact with moisture must be avoided at all costs.
Measurements in damp rooms or under adverse ambient conditions are not permitted.
Unfavourable ambient conditions include:
- Wetness or high air humidity,
- Dust,ammablegases,vapoursorsolvents,
- Thunderstormsorsimilarconditionssuchasstrongelectrostaticelds,etc.
Using this product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product and result in short circuit,
reorelectricshock.Theproductmustnotbemodiedorreassembled!
