h) Setting the language
The menu language can be changed. English is the default language.
1. Press the
button when the camera is turned on to enter the setup menu.
2. Use the
and buttons to scroll to "Language". Conrm your selection using the
button.
3. Choose the desired language from the corresponding menu. Conrm your selection with
the
button.
i) Default settings
This option returns settings to factory default values. Only select this option if you wish to
reset your previous settings.
1. Press the
button when the camera is turned on to enter the setup menu.
2. Use the
and buttons to scroll to "Default setting". Conrm your selection using the
button.
3. Select "OK" to apply the default settings or "Cancel" to maintain the current settings.

j) Format
Selecting this option formats the inserted memory card. Caution! All saved data will be
erased.

3. Select "OK" to format the memory card or "Cancel" to exit the "Format" menu. Conrm

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
• Turn off the device before cleaning and disconnect it from other devices.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning materials.
• Use a soft, antistatic and lint-free cloth to clean the device.
• After using the device in salt water (e.g. after diving in the sea) it must be rinsed thoroughly
in clear water. Ensure that no salt residue remains on the device. Dry all parts after
cleaning.
• Apply from time to time some silicone oil to the O-rings to ensure that the housing is
waterproof.
DISPOSAL
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
b) Rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used rechargeable batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus full your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
