Port Forward
Port forward is used to allow an external user to reach a port on a private IP address (inside a LAN) from
the outside via a NAT-enabled router (VoloFone™ VF100).
When a computer on the Internet sends data to the public IP address of the VoloFone™ VF100, it needs to
know how to manage the data. Port Forward tells the VoloFone™ VF100 which computer on the local area
network to send the data to.
To configure Port Forward select LAN followed by Port Forward in the Navigation panel - the Port
Forward page is displayed:
Enter the Server IP address and Server Port, select the Protocol from the drop-down list, and enter
the NAT Port then click the Add button.
