To show running-config file.
CLI Syntax: show running-config
Example: Switch#show running-config
8.3.3.16 write memory
Use the write file configuration command on the switch stack or standalone switch to
write configuration to the file.
CLI Syntax: write memory
Example: Switch#write memory
8.3.3.17 Assign a new user account
Add a user, e.g. a user named tony whose password is tony123456
CLI Syntax: add user WORD WORD
Example: Switch(config)#add user tony tony123456
8.3.3.18 Delete a new user account
Delete a user account, e.g. for a user named tony.
CLI Syntax: delete user WORD
Example: Switch(config)#delete user tony
8.3.4 Physical interface commands
8.3.4.1 Interface mode
Use the auto-negotiation configuration command on the switch to set the auto-
negotiation status of the port.
CLI Syntax: auto-negotiation
Example: Switch(config)#interface fastethernet1/0/2
Switch(config-if)#auto-negotiation
This example shows how to use the auto-negotiation configuration command on the
switch to enable auto-negotiation mode.

Use the duplex configuration command on the switch to set duplex status of the port.
