6.1.2 DHCP Configuration

DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) allows the Device Server / Managed

Media Converter to obtain an IP address from DHCP server automatically.

NOTE:

A DHCP server must exist and be available in your local network prior to enabling the

DHCP client.

DHCP Configuration menu

Use Spacebar to enable the DHCP Client settings. Select <SAVE> to apply the

settings and <ESC> to move to the previous menu. If you don’t want to save the

changes made, just select <ESC> and you will move to previous menu without making

any changes.
