The seatbelt has to be separated from the seat in
order to remove the seats. This is done by
detaching the insertion tongue's plastic covering
and the subsequent removal of the metal pin
which is secured with a sheet metal lock. As seen
in the illustration, the insertion tongue's housing
is sawn open at the two joints with a little hack-
saw. The topside can then be removed.
Once the pin has been removed, the belt can be
separated from the insertion tongue and the seat
can be removed.

When carrying out assembly tasks on the lap-belt winders, please ensure that the underpart of
the housing is not damaged!
If damage should occur, the complete lap-belt winder is to be replaced!
